This is the last part of our road trip.
We traveled through the Redwood National Park towards Mendocino County down to Wine Country, Sonoma and Napa. We tasted some great wines on the way, especially at Castello di Amorosa. We visited The Poor House in Napa,Bianco and The Maids' Quarters in Los Gatos. From there, we drove to Carmel where we stopped at Tancredi and Morgen. All of these stores were just so wonderful.
I really enjoyed the visit! Here are some pictures of our trip through California!
I couldn't resist photographing this magnificent tree!
This is Fern Canyon. They filmed "Lost" and"Jurassic Park" here!
We visited one of our winery clients in Napa, Castello di Amorosa. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend a visit here. Not only do they have outstanding Italian wines, but the place is unbelievable. It's an authentic Tuscan castle that was built in the same way as it would have been more then 700 years ago with all old handmade materials. It has a moat, drawbridge, towers and even a church and stables!
I was excited to see a lot of our Pom Pom at Home Tabletop collection in there shop/tasting room.
Besides touring the castle, it's a real treat to taste their highly awarded wines!
Here are a few that we were able to try.
The place looks like a real castle!
It even has a moat!
And a chicken coop!
We drove a bit further to visit The Poor House in Napa.
It was originally a car repair building that has been converted into an exquisite
interior design store.
I really love this cool space. They did such a great job!
I met Bryan who calls himself a design freak! And I can see why!
They also have a place in the Oxbow Public Market, just around the corner.
If you're in town, it's definitely a must-see!
It's a compilation of great food, wine and shops!
From Sonoma we went to Los Gatos, a beautiful town a bit south of San Francisco.
I visited Bianco, a sophisticated store that uses a predominantly clean white color palette.
Unfortunately I missed the owner, Randi. She certainly knows how to put a store together!
It looked amazing! The store is filled with beautiful European gifts and furnishings.
It was so nice to see our Pom Pom at Home products displayed in such a great way!
